Pause the pills: would you interrupt treatment for HIV cure research?
There is no cure for HIV. Researchers worldwide are working on different ways to get rid of the virus. We wanted to know how people living with HIV feel about being involved in this type of research. We undertook a short survey on what issues would affect the decision to take part.
This survey is now closed. Stay tuned for the results.
The survey was open to anyone over 18 years old and living with HIV, from all countries and all backgrounds. This includes women, heterosexual men, gay and bisexual men and trans* people with HIV. Participation was possible regardless of how long participants had HIV or what treatment they were taking (if any).
